Overheard in the Dining Room: A Conversation With My Husband

Maria and her husband, Adrian, frequently eat dinner with their daughters at our Family Dining Room. We recently asked them to talk about parenthood and what it means to them. The couple, who have been married for more than 20 years, have faced unique challenges that have, in their own words, brought them even closer.

Every day, hundreds of families attend our Family Evening Meal where parents get a break from their busy days and are served a restaurant-style meal with love and kindess by our volunteers, and children get to participate in the Dream Center, our activity center where kids take classes, get help with homework and do arts and crafts. 

You can help us provide  meals  ,  food boxes  ,  diapers  and other essential items to moms and dads in need.
