Show You Care Donate Underwear Drive for SVdP
A clean pair of underwear is one of life’s most basic needs, but one that many of us take for granted. St. Vincent de Paul distributes 45,000 pairs of underwear through its dining rooms and transitional shelters every year.
Unlike other clothing donations, underwear must be new. When donations fall short, SVdP must purchase the remaining supply to meet the need.
How You Can Help
To address this need, SVdP’s Show You Care Donate Underwear Drive, happening throughout the month of October, provides a simple way for the community to donate new packs of underwear to those who need them most. SVdP is encouraging individuals and organizations to join the drive by hosting a donation box and filling it up with packs of new underwear. Each box holds up to 250 pairs of underwear. They can get started by registering their own underwear drive, and SVdP will drop off and pick up their donation box.

This year, SVdP is proud to have the direct support of the Better Business Bureau serving the Pacific Southwest, BBB4Good, Revolution Parts, along with Arizona Financial Credit Union who will be sponsoring and hosting donation boxes to help SVdP reach its goal.
The Need
Underwear for adult men and women of all sizes is needed. There is a current high need for men’s underwear in particular. Socks are also welcome. Donations will be collected through Oct. 31 with a goal of collecting 10,000+ pairs of underwear this year!
For those unable to host a donation box but still eager to support the Show You Care Donate Underwear Drive, they can visit SVdP’s Amazon Wish List to purchase and ship packs of new underwear directly, or they can make a monetary donation online.
