Grow fresh food for the community
What is it all about?
Hunger and food insecurity continue to rise in Arizona. Food insecurity often leads to unhealthy dieting. Health and wellness are a top priority as we aim to address the root causes of poverty and food insecurity. At our three urban farms, we produce nutritionally dense food for those who do not have access to proper vitamins and nutrients. Annually, we grow 33,000 pounds of produce, which goes directly to our kitchen to be prepared for individuals and families experiencing homelessness and food insecurity, or delivered directly to families’ doors. This greatly enhances the nutritional support we’re able to offer our guests, and provides programming activities to inspire, educate, and offer a sacred space of peace and belonging.
